Second Annual Temple Law Day of Service a Success
October 15, 2010 - Temple Law held its second Annual Day of Service on Friday, October 8, 2010, and it was by all accounts a resounding success. An enthusiastic group of faculty, staff, and students descended once again on the former St. Boniface church complex, this time to paint the future offices of the Norris Square Civic Association, housed in what used to be the rectory.
In addition to working on the rectory, smaller teams were assigned to weed the courtyard and prune overgrown ivy, plant mums, and paint the benches in a nearby park. The project was made possible by the generosity of Professor Jane Baron and her husband, Dr. Richard Baron.
